In 1908, Nicolas Brimo establishes himself as an antique dealer and shortly after associates with his brother-in-law Lucien Lascombes de Laroussilhe to found Brimo de Laroussilhe which presents at the time pieces of art from various domains. In 1991, Philippe Carlier takes over Brimo de Laroussilhe and decides to focus exclusively on the company’s specialties, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. His daughter Marie-Amélie joins him in 2002 being the gallery’s managing director since 2010.
