Arts et Autographes
France, Paris
Jean-Emmanuel Raux opened his first gallery in 1975 in the Yvelines, then moved to Paris in 1999 and opened the Arts et Autographes gallery, in the 6th arrondissement, rue de l’Odéon. Since 2015, he has been joined by his daughter Alizée Raux, who is in charge of the gallery's Fine Arts department. The Parisian gallery initially specialised in historical documents. Over the years, they expanded into the musical and fine arts. Jean-Emmanuel Raux has become an expert in manuscripts in France. The gallery has taken a new turn with the arrival of Alizée Raux, diversifying into modern and contemporary paintings. Alizee’s goal is to link painters' manuscripts with their painting to show the theoretical part of their art, their character, their friendships and their relationships. Whether manuscripts or paintings, each piece is unique, authentic and of irreproachable quality, providing collectors and institutions with pleasure and serenity in their purchases.
