Galerie Taménaga
France, Paris
Founded in Tokyo in 1969 by Kiyoshi Taménaga, Galerie Taménaga was the first Japanese gallery to specialise in the great Impressionist and modern masters. With locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Paris and Kyoto, it has been fostering artistic dialogue between Japan and the West for more than fifty years. The gallery presents major works by Bonnard, Chagall, Dufy, Picasso, Renoir and Van Dongen, while continuing to advise international collectors. Alongside its heritage, the gallery also supports contemporary creation by working with both emerging and established Japanese and international artists. Today, it stands as one of the key players in Japanese contemporary art.
