Albert Vandervelden began as an antique dealer in 1974 and opened his gallery “La Mésangère” in the historical centre of Liege, near the main museums. In his 18th century gallery, he presents precious collections to which he has devoted his life. The Louis XIV period and the Regency style are well represented in his collection, alongside his high quality collection of art and craftsmanship from the Liege region. The aesthetic quality of each piece is always the first test of selection.
