Founded in 1975 by Rainer M. Ludorff in Düsseldorf, LUDORFF stands for a constantly evolving program of renowned modern, post-war and contemporary artists. Twice a year, the gallery presents new acquisitions from the programme as well as up to up to four solo and group exhibitions. The exhibitions are accompanied by detailed catalogues with scholarly contributions by renowned art historians. Highlights in recent years have been solo exhibitions of Josef Albers, Alex Katz, Lotte Laserstein or Sam Francis. In addition, the gallery participates in up to eight international art fairs per year.
