Galerie Bertrand de Lavergne

France, Paris

The Bertrand de Lavergne Gallery presents Chinese export porcelain and 16th-18th century Chinese works of art. Having opened in the Louvre des Antiquaires in 1985, it moved to new premises situated 17 rue des Saints-Pères 75006 Paris in 2015. The gallery takes pride in its uniqueness: very few galleries in France specialise in such high quality Chinese snuff bottles from the Qing period. The director Bertrand de Lavergne belongs to the Chambre Nationale des Experts Spécialisés and to the Compagnie Nationale des Experts. He is also affiliated with the Syndicat National des Antiquaires and with ROCAD, and is the founder and secretary-general of the Association of Specialists in Collection Ceramics. He is a member of the International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society. The gallery regularly takes part in BRAFA and the Parcours de la Céramique, and has also participated in the Salon du Collectionneur and the Paris Biennale.
