De Zutter Art Gallery
Belgium, Knokke-Zoute
Michael De Zutter grew up immersed in art, inheriting his passion from his parents, both discerning collectors. After completing his law degree, he gained experience alongside an established dealer before founding his own gallery in 2003. Initially dedicated to CoBrA art—with a special focus on Alechinsky, Appel and Corneille - the gallery soon expanded to ZERO artists such as Mack, Piene, Schoonhoven and Leblanc and other international artists. Its reputation quickly grew on the international stage, leading from 2010 onwards to a series of solo exhibitions by renowned artists including Balkenhol, Christo, Knoebel, Förg and Cragg. More recently, the gallery has embraced the vitality of young contemporary voices such as Aboudia, The Connor Brothers and Stefan De Jaeger. Today, the gallery is recognised as both a trusted partner for emerging collectors acquiring their first works, and a valued destination for seasoned connoisseurs seeking to enrich and diversify their international collections.
