The gallery is run by Dr. Lorenz van der Meij. Our programme covers the entire 19th century, with a particular focus on Northern European Romanticism (e.g. work by J.C. Dahl, Thomas Fearnley, Skovgaard and Peder Balke), Scandinavian Symbolism (Hammershøi, Ilsted, Holsøe, LA, Ring) and Dutch painting (e.g. Jan Weissenbruch and Willem Witsen). The gallery publishes a catalogue of new acquisitions every two years and also a monthly newsletter. Amongst our customers, we count international museums and renowned private collections, both in Europe and in the US.
