Leopold Bauer was particularly close to the Spaun family, the owners of the Lötz manufactory. He planned their villa in Klostermühle and designed its fixtures and fittings. Many of the light fittings were executed by him using glass shades in "kristall Texas" décor. That same decor was also used for numerous vases and table decoration elements. Even if the design for the form cannot be documented, Bauer’s authorship seems extremely likely.
