Eggcup-shaped base in enamelled gold, entirely openwork and decorated with diamond-set foliage alternating with medallions. The neck is decorated with green and blue enamelled geometric motifs. The zarf features three enamelled medallions with a pink background and polychrome trophies. The foot repeats the geometric motifs on the neck. This zarf is typical of Swiss production for the oriental market in the early 19th century. Turkish notables used it to hold their coffee cups.
