Silver, chased, extraordinarily fine bead-and-reel decoration, oval enamel plaque in the lid, inside: black stained pear wood and fabric lining, highest quality silversmith craftsmanship

The design drawing for this box preserved in the Wiener Werkstätte archives reads as follows: Rauchgarnitur "Kassette" für Direktor Platzer, Wien I, Tegetthofstrasse 7 (smoking compendium “box” for Director Platzer, Vienna I, Tegetthoffstrasse 7). It is thus to be assumed that this silver box is unique.
