A fine and large kamana, or soup bowl used by initiated men. The decor is composed of four stylized human faces – probably male - representing important spiritual ancestors. The figures are separated by geometric motifs. Koiwat Village style, Sawos People, Middle Sepik, P.N.G. 26 cm in diameter.
