This drawing-room table is amongst the most beautiful Jugendstil pieces produced by Thonet. Since Wagner-student Marcel Kammerer was Thonet's head designer and as no other renowned designer worked for Thonet at the time, one can assume with a high degree of probability that this table was designed by Kammerer. As source of inspiration, he used model no. 413, a table designed around 1900 by Koloman Moser for the Kohn company.
