Rueb is situated in an exclusive part of Amsterdam near the Concertgebouw. It was founded in 1986 under the guidance of Mr Willem Rueb, who had spent eight years working in the 19th century and modern painting department at a well-known international auction house. The firm specializes in modern and contemporary art and has a clientele of mainly private collectors. Twice a year Rueb organises an exhibition. Throughout the rest of the year, the gallery may be visited by appointment.
