The case and the bracket stamped Saint-Germain.
The dial with twenty four enamel roman hour chapters and arabic five minute chapters.

The musique with eight melodies attributed to Robert à La Chaux-de-Fonds.

The waisted case and bracket decorated overall with ormolu C-scrolls and foliate mounts.

The top surmounted by a figure of a Cupid holding an arrow in one's hand 
and seating on a seahorse.

The hinged and glazed door decorated with a representation of a La Fontaine's fable, Le Corbeau et le Renard, cast in relief.
