“Objects come in and you suddenly have to do a lot of research." Founded in 1977 by his father Erwin, the Ralph Gierhards gallery, based in Düsseldorf, offers a wide range of works of art with a specialty in antique French and Italian furniture from the 18th century, gilded bronze art objects but also paintings or porcelain. Ralph Gierhards also brings his specialist expertise for 18th and 19th century sculpture but also for the vases of the Frenchman Camille Fauré, an emblematic representative of the Art Deco period... a truly great temporal gap justified by the love of beauty.
