Argento Gallery is a young gallery specialising in 17th century Dutch portraiture, with a particular focus on works from the Dutch Golden Age. Founder and collector Jaco Pieper combines a personal passion for these portraits with careful research into their history and provenance. Each painting is thoughtfully selected, thoroughly examined and, where necessary, restored in collaboration with leading experts and conservators. The collection is also presented through the gallery’s virtual platform, offering visitors an innovative way to discover the works and the stories behind them.
