Galerie Dutko
France, Paris
Galerie Dutko was created in 1969. Initially specialised in Art Deco furniture, particularly the work of the French creator Eugène Printz, whom Jean-Jacques Dutko helped to rediscover, the gallery's DNA has gradually developed around the dialogue between artist’s furniture, sculpture and painting. Historically present in Saint-Germain-des-Près, Galerie Dutko inaugurated a new space in 2010 on rue de Bretonvilliers on the Ile Saint-Louis. This opening marked the intensified development of the gallery’s contemporary art programming, which has become a central element of its activity. This programming has been enriched year after year, welcoming both established and emerging artists. The artists represented by the gallery exhibit nationally and internationally in solo or group shows. In 2022, Galerie Dutko moved its space from Bonaparte Street to 17 Quai Voltaire. This new space with ambitious dimensions reinforces the contemporary direction of the gallery.
