Aldo Chiale began his career in the art world in 1971, establishing contacts with museums and professionals across the international art market to help him source the best quality items for his clients. In 2004, Alessandro Chiale took over the business, having obtained a PhD in the history of art, and in 2009 Federico Chiale, with a PhD in architecture, expanded the gallery’s range to incorporate interior design. The gallery specialises in 18th century continental furniture and sculpture from the 14th to the 20th century. The pieces are selected according to strict criteria concerning the artists and designers and the provenance of the pieces. Each piece is thoroughly examined with regard to technical and historical detail, and clients are always guaranteed a certificate of authenticity. The gallery participates in important international fairs such as the International Biennale of Florence, the International Biennale of Rome, Palazzo Permanente Milano and Masterpiece in London.
