Teapot and creamer with ivory spacer (these replaced), finely carved ivory double-looped handles, lids with stylized pine cone finials, finest quality of silversmith craftsmanship, excellent original condition

Exhibition: According to the Wiener Werkstätte pattern book, 3 such tea sets had been produced, one in 1922, one in 1924 and one in 1926. Josef Hoffmann also exhibited one of these sets at the Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in 1925.
In 2014, we showed an identical set at the Tefaf (catalogue number 30). We had acquired this set in the USA and sold it to an eminent art collector.
