Established in 1877 Joseph Linz Brothers grew from the various efforts of five Linz brothers during the late 19th and early decades of the 20th century. In 1891 they set up shop in Dallas, simplifiying the name to Linz Brothers in 1907 with the retirement of Joseph, and became incorporated in 1922. They enjoyed success with their Art Deco ranges, further expansion opening other stores and continued through to the late 20th century.
