Silver, chased and hammered, ivory handles, excellent original condition

Teapot: H 16 cm
Tray: H 2 cm, L 45 cm, W 40 cm

An identical tea service was exhibited at the exhibition "Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes" in Paris in 1925. Hoffmann designed the Austrian pavilion in co-operation with Oswald Haerdtl. Wiener Werkstätte silverwork, including the Hoffmann service, was exhibited in hand-painted showcases by Christa Ehrlich.
