Powolny's Four Seasons Putti were produced to order until 1919 by both "Wiener Keramik" and "Vereinigte Wiener und Gmundner Keramik" and from 1915 onwards by the Wienerberger company. In Vienna's famous “Dianabad” public bath, two colourful sets were placed in the ante-hall of the ladies' steam bath in niches designed by Otto Prutscher. They are among the most important masterpieces of Viennese Jugendstil.
