silversmith craftsmanship, excellent original condition

The Wiener Werkstätte pattern book records the
production of 3 such tea sets – one each in 1922, 1924 and 1926. Josef Hoffmann
also exhibited one of these sets at the Paris Exposition Internationale des
Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in 1925.
In 2014, we showed an identical set at the TEFAF (catalogue
number 30), which we had acquired in the USA and sold to a renowned art
collector.
