Colourless glass cased in opalescent glass, base with dark red-brown band, salmon red mouth, bulbous metallic-yellow side, the whole covered with various trailed silver-yellow bands

Franz Hofstötter was commissioned by the Loetz glassworks to design shapes and décors for numerous vases for the 1900 World Exhibition in Paris. Most probably, he also designed this décor, which was created specifically for the Paris collection.
