Founded 1994 in Leipzig Dr. Ute Eggeling and Michael Beck moved the gallery to Dusseldorf in 1998 into an 18th century city palais right in the centre of the historic old town. A permanent programme of consistently high quality works of Expressionism, 20th century masters and contemporary art has allowed Beck & Eggeling to establish themselves as a leading name on the international art market. « Fine art is the finest investment » and « art is the best way to understand the world a little better ».
