Based in the historic heart of Antwerp, Galerie Lowet de Wotrenge deals not only in Flemish and Dutch Master paintings, but also in works on paper and sculptures from ca. 1500-1800. Over the years, the gallery has sold works to museums and institutions all over the world and has frequently loaned artworks for museum exhibitions. Galerie Lowet de Wotrenge strives to present its clients with fresh-to-market and thoroughly researched works in good condition. Each year, the gallery organises two in-house exhibitions - often accompanied by an illustrated catalogue - featuring recent acquisitions and important rediscovered works. The gallery is managed by its director and owner, Tyr Baudouin. A historian by training, he is specialised in early modern cultural history.
