Since its foundation in 1889, De Wit has grown to become a global authority in the field of both antique and modern tapestries. The conservation workshop and exhibition spaces are housed within the unique setting of the historic Refuge of Tongerlo Abbey (1484). Today, Pierre Maes, representing the fifth generation, continues a tradition spanning more than 135 years with a selection of exceptional and remarkable pieces.
