Otto Prutscher used this coat and hat stand 1914 for the Café Lurion in Vienna. According to Giovanni Renzi this model was offered by Thonet as early as 1905 (model no. 10314) and from 1907 on (model no. 10414) using a square base. From the evidence of the circular base, the two balls on the umbrella ring and the design of the top our model 10416 can certainly be dated a little later.

 Surface slightly repolished,
 renewed metal tray, very good condition.
