About the Gallery
The gallery Tanakaya, created by Tamio Ikeda, in Paris (Saint-Germain des Près - Odeon), in 1988, is specialized in original Japanese prints, paintings, illustrated books, bronzes, ceramics and laquers, from the Edo period, to the contemporary.
Japanese prints and works of art are on permanent display at the gallery, with at least two special exhibitions per year, and on the website. The gallery participates for years in TEFAF (Maastricht), BRAFA (Brussels), and Paris International Print Fair.
