Michael De Zutter grew up surrounded by art. He inherited his passion from his parents, who were knowledgeable collectors. After obtaining his law degree, he worked for a few years with a fellow dealer. In 2003, he founded his own gallery, which first specialised in CoBrA art, with an emphasis on Alechinksy, Appel and Corneille, and later also in ZERO art with the artists Mack, Piene, Schoonhoven and Leblanc. The gallery attracted increasing international interest and from 2010, other international artists entered the raster with several solo shows: Balkenhol, Christo, Knoebel, Förg, Cragg, amongst others. Young contemporary artists such as Aboudia and Stefan De Jaeger have also contributed to broadening the spectrum of the gallery, which now stands out as a partner for young collectors wishing to acquire their first works, or to enlarge and enrich existing international collections.
