Cabinet of Curiosities-Honourable Silver Objects
Belgium, Antwerp
The gallery's initial name, Honourable Silver Objects, might suggest that it was devoted exclusively to the sale of antique silver. Over time, however, the gallery has broadened its focus to include works from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The gallery now offers rare furniture and objects made from a wide variety of materials. Assembling these pieces to create a harmonious still life or design a tasteful interior is a real passion for the gallery's founders. That's why they have added Cabinet of Curiosities to the gallery's name. They believe that beauty, sobriety, form and colour are the decisive criteria when choosing a precious object, but that authenticity remains essential. The Cabinet of Curiosities prides itself on informing its clients about the history of each object whilst emphasising their original purpose, based on the conviction that the use of an item enhances the pleasure it brings.
