Galerie Ramakers (founded in 1994) is located at the heart of the gallery district in The Hague opposite the Dutch Royal Gardens. Catalijn Ramakers, founder of the gallery wanted to create an exhibition space to express her highly personal taste in art: a mixture of minimalist art, intertwined with a fascination for contemporary surreal trends has been the hallmark of her exhibitions. Some of her artists express an ongoing love for nature, which results in a mere representation of natural elements. The artists represented by the gallery have a certain subtlety in their visual language in common. Besides traditional media such as painting, sculpture and drawing, you will also find new media art, site specific works and installations in the gallery.
