An exceptionally rare mid 18th century mahogany centre table, having a later rectangular ‘Yellow Benou Breccia’ marble top with moulded edge above a concave mounded frieze; on cabriole legs with leaf carved knees, terminating in claw and ball feet.

Note: It is very rare to find a marble topped centre table of this type. Most tables of this period were side tables, designed to be placed against the wall and therefore left unfinished on the reverse side.
