Literature: The Fromery factory and workshop was created by the French Huguenot emigré, Pierre Fromery (1655 - 1738), an accomplished steel-cutter, armourer, clockmaker and box-maker.
To the front of our oval is a profile of a Bishop / Saint shown wearing a ‘mitre’ and holding a ‘crozier’ and burning candle / lamp.
