In the Private Collection of Mr Clinton Gilbert, acquired from the above 1st May 1923 (accompanied by copy of original invoice from 1923).
Thence by descent to his widow Mrs Magdalene Lydia Gilbert, 1924 (accompanied by the estate appraisal of Paul H. Petersen, ESQ. and Mrs. Magdalene Lydia Petersen (formerly Gilbert), of Hadlyme, Connecticut, 1942)
