This piece shows no monograms, nevertheless we are certain it was handknotted in the workshops of Elisabeth de Saedeleer.
This motif shows many similarities with the carpet 'Sea', designed by A. Van Huffel.
The original drawings for this piece are at the Designmuseum in Ghent. The rugs were commissioned by E. De Klerck for the Memlinc Hotel in Knokke - Le Zoute.
